Paolo Cian, who graduated at Turin Polytechnic University in Aeronautical Engineering, is a founder member of S&C. He has a decade-long experience in the field of Intellectual Property.

His extensive technical knowledge covers, in particular, aeronautics, space, mechanics, electro-mechanics, automotive, shipbuilding, bridge and tunnel building, farming machinery, physics, plastics, packing technologies, laser plants & processing and industrial automation. He advises on trademarks and the filing of trademarks before the Italian Patent and Trademark Office, the WIPO and the OHIM.

He is a qualified European Patent Attorney, a chartered Italian Patent and Trademark Attorney as well as a OHIM registered European Trademark and Design Attorney.

He is fluent in Italian, English and French, and has a good knowledge of German and Spanish. He is a member of the EPI (European Patent Attorney Institute) and the Italian Association of Industrial Property Counsels.
